A properly installed crawl-space vapor barrier is the first and most critical line of defense against ground moisture migration into your home's structure. Mold Removal Co. provides professional crawl-space vapor barrier installation for homeowners across Albuquerque, NM, using reinforced polyethylene sheeting rated at 10 to 20 mils for durability and long-term moisture resistance. Our installation crews overlap seams, seal all joints with moisture-resistant tape, and secure the barrier against foundation walls to create a continuous, gap-free moisture block across the entire crawl-space floor ensuring no exposed soil allows ground vapor to enter your home.
Unlike DIY vapor barrier installations that often leave gaps, sags, and unsealed penetrations that render them largely ineffective, Mold Removal Co.'s professional vapor barrier installations in Albuquerque, NM are completed to IICRC and industry standards that deliver measurable reductions in crawl-space humidity levels. The right vapor barrier, properly installed, can reduce crawl-space relative humidity by 20 to 40 percent on its own significantly reducing the risk of mold growth, wood rot, and pest infestation. Whether you need a standalone vapor barrier or one installed as part of a broader encapsulation project, Mold Removal Co. has the expertise to get it done right.
